Update on Charity

Thanks to your contribution we are now above 65%!! It is amazing. We transferred all the money to the project in Bolivia supported by Engineers without Borders. They now completed the funding for the project and we can follow the progress  on their website (in German).

Since we had some money left from the fundraising, we decided to add another project related to the water but this time in Peru. So you can still continue to donate. This new project is supported by a German Charity: Leben braucht Wasser. The idea is to build water pumps to facilitate the extraction of water for poor population. There is a good video explaining how they did it already in Peru in the past.
Again many thanks for your support on our project!

Ski season start!

Now, it is time to physically prepare for the trip. Miji and I started fitness 3 weeks ago to muscle our back and core. But another good way to prepare, it is to ski. Today I started the ski season with some good powder in Laax with good friends, Marie-Eve and Philippe.

We really had a lot of fun and I can tell that the fitness really helped. Let see tomorrow if I have any muscle fever!

Funds transfer

Thank to your contribution, we have reached 32% already! We are all very touched by your support, so thank you! The initial project to which we wanted to transfer our funds has been fully funded. Fortunately, we found a similar project on the same topic with Engineer without Border but in another village in Bolivia. So if you have any questions related to this, please let me know.

Roadbook

We have a pretty good idea of the road we will travel so far. Mijail did a GPS trace point so we can have an idea. We are going to travel 4'422km according to the GPS software. It will be a bit more I guess. There are 2-3 days when we will have to travel 490km which is quite  a lot!
