History

Our adventure has a very long history.

It goes back in time to Hadrien's childhood, when he, together with his brother, used to practice motocross in their grandma's backyard. Since then he always kept in mind a desire of traveling around the planet with a motorcycle.

Almost 3 years ago, early in 2010, Hadrien started sharing the idea of riding to the end of the world: la Patagonia.  In February 2010, he "shooted" a few emails to try to gather a team of riders.

He started preparing and worked hard for it. One of the first steps was getting a driver's license!!!

The original idea was to get the license by the end of 2010 and be in Patagonia at the beginning of 2011. It did not happen (many reasons), but Hadrien did not drop the idea at all, kept training, got the license, reached even the Olympics (...) and was ready to talk business again early in the summer of 2012. Miji's coaching capabilities were a great asset in this preparation period, making Hadrien realize the existence of great proven technologies, like the Pin-Lock, and pushing him to accumulate as much mileage as possible before the trip.

We started planning the Patagonia adventure in July, made some phone calls during the summer to get to know a bit more about the environment and finally set for a realistic plan in September.

We are going to travel 4’422 km during 15 days starting January 27th 2013!
60% of gravel! Switch between the mythical Ruta 40 and La Carretera Austral over several passes of the Andes to finally end up riding the famous Ruta 3 until no more can be done - only swimming with the penguins!
